Personality: Ginji in a nutshell? Happy-go-lucky. He's an optimist to the very end and he'll always hope for the best. Deemed a warrior of love, Ginji likes to chase the skirts but has very little success. All the poor guy wants is a good meal and a date with a pretty girl. However, not many have seen the true scope of his powers. Once the leader of the legendary Volts in Infinity Fortress, Ginji was known as the Lightning Lord. When Ginji becomes the Lightning Lord (or Raitei), his personality is completely different compared to this carefree individual. Nothing stands in the Lightning Lords way. When he wants something, he gets it. In either form, Ginji is known for being charismatic and has an uncanny ability to somewhat convince people that Ban is not the person that they think he is, which merely shows his loyalty towards his friends even more. Ginji is also an energetic guy who makes friends easily (sometimes without trying) and has a strong sense of justice.

Ginji isn't prone to fear very often but when he is, he'll cling to the first friend that he sees. He's also extremely protective of those that he will call a friend. He prefers to think things out but is also easily swayed by those with a more forceful personality (ie., Ban Mido). His common sense is rather practicle but again, he's easily overpowered and rather submissive in certain situations. But if a friend is in need of his aid, Ginji would give them the shirt off his back.
Special Abilities: Ginji can generate electricity through his body. He's often referred to as an electric eel.
